History to Now


~DRA~ was formed on the 1st on January 2005 and then entered kw on the 23rd of January. Our clan started off as 3 brothers playing halo, Davy, Richard (Dawg) and Adam, which is where the tag letters originally came from.

We started off as just playing halo as a bit of fun, playing now and again on home dedi's and stuff. We got our first new member the first day we signed up. Our first win was on the 26th on January which Nessy won as a 1v1, against a player called {GW} Redcap. Our stats by April were around 5-150, losing nearly every match we played. We got some new members such as Enex, Yoss, Bitch, Snake, Casey, Dye and Raven, who all stayed very loyal to the clan until life got in the way and they could not play anymore. In June we started recruiting a lot of players such as Matty, Fever, Pix, Hitman, Oxide and Eden. All these members have remained loyal to the clan to this day, years later. We then won Kw in June 2005 and Davy got the 1st warrior. After this, others started flocking to the clan, coming and going and that is when ~DRA~ started to take off. Nessy won the 1st warrior on the month of September with a 123 winning streak.

As we started getting new members, we then decided to change our name to DrunkenRaccoonArmy(of love as akira called us).

~DRA~ then went on to take the game quite competivetly, with members vastly improving on aim and team work. But, although we were getting competitive, we were always going to remain more of a community. We got some more members and went on to give the big clans in kw a good game. The members that have statyed in ~DRA~ since then and made a big difference to the clan are Tinky, Damage, Azreal, Myth, Scavenger, Border, Rek, Rob, Rasp, Futor and Xeon.

After around 9-10 months of playing in different clans in different leagues, and playing a lot of scrims, we moved to HPT, a new league which was getting popular more and more as kw died off.~DRA~ then went on to get silver in April. After that, ~DRA~ then won HPT in July with Davy getting 1st warrior, Useless(Short time member) getting 2nd place and Border getting third place. After this we started going downhill, everyone getting less and less active in halo.

~DRA~ is still around, and a lot of members are still very willing to join up if it ever came back to competitive gaming. We all play other games now such as CS:S, eve, quake 4, UT3, RA3, Heroes of Newerth and WoW.
